Upon arrival at Amman Airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Oswald Tours, who will assist you. Your guide and driver, who will accompany you throughout the tour, will also be introduced. You will then drive to Madaba to see the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land. Next, visit Mount Nebo, the same mountain from which Moses gazed upon the Promised Land and where he is believed to have passed away. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
After an early breakfast, depart for Petra, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, which was inhabited by the Nabateans from 300 B.C. Enjoy a horse ride through the Siq (Canyon) and admire the Treasury, carved into the pink stones. Continue to explore the Roman Theatre, the Corinthian Tomb, the Palace Tomb, and the Roman Road. Afterward, we'll drive north along the King's Highway, heading toward the Jordanian capital, Amman, for an overnight stay.
Cross the border into Israel and continue to Nazareth, the city of Jesus' childhood and youth. Visit the Church of the Annunciation. Then, drive to the village of Cana, where you will visit the church and attend Mass. Afterward, proceed to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After break fast ,we will begin with with Sea of Galilee boat ride and then proceed to Capernaum. Next, visit Tabgha to see the Church of the Primacy of St. Peter and the Church of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fishes. Continue to the Mount of Beatitudes, where we will attend Mass. Then, head to the Church of the Transfiguration on Mount Tabor. Our final stop will be at Yardenit. Afterward, return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay in Tiberias.
After breakfast, drive south, passing by Jericho, the oldest city in the world, for an overview. Attend Mass in Jericho and observe the Mount of Temptation. Continue south to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on Earth. Visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, and enjoy a relaxing float in the Dead Sea.
After breakfast, drive to the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of both Old and New Jerusalem. Visit the Church of the Ascension and the Pater Noster Church, where Jesus taught the "Our Father," written in many languages. We will then begin our procession along the Palm Sunday Road, all the way to Dominus Flevit, where Jesus wept over the destruction of Jerusalem. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations, which houses the rock where Jesus prayed during His agony, and celebrate our morning Mass there. Next, proceed to the Old City to visit the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus healed a blind man, and the Church of St. Anne. See the Dome of the Rock and the Western Wall, the most sacred site for Jews. Follow the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa, from the Chapel of Flagellation to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where the final station is located. Here, we will reflect and share spiritually. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, proceed to Mount Zion to visit the Tomb of David and the Dormition Abbey, believed to be the site of the Virgin Mary's Assumption into heaven. Also visit the Room of the Last Supper, where the Holy Spirit descended upon the Apostles. Next, visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, built on the site of the house of Caiaphas, where Jesus was denied three times.
After breakfast, we will visit Emmaus. Then, continue to Ein Karem to see the Church of St. John the Baptist and the Visitation Church (also known as the Church of the Magnificat), where the Virgin Mary visited her cousin Elizabeth.
We will drive south through the Negev Desert, crossing the southern Taba border. Continue through Sinai to St. Catherine. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Early in the morning, we will climb Mount Sinai, the site where the Ten Commandments were believed to have been given. Afterward, we will drive west through the Sinai Peninsula, taking in the same views once seen by the Israelites. We will then cross the Suez Canal through a tunnel and continue on to Cairo. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at the hotel.
Drive to Old Cairo to visit the Church of the Holy Virgin Mary, also known as the "Hanging Church," which was built in the 4th century BC. Then, visit the nearby St. Sergius Coptic Church. Afterward, proceed to the airport for your flight back home. Visit one of the Wonders of the World—the Pyramids of Giza—and the nearby Sphinx.
